Hi folks, wondering if you could perhaps me out with a strange little thing. I'm trying to play a .wmv file, but Windows Media Player 8, Windows Media Player 6.4 and Windows Media Player Classic 6.4.8.2 all flatly refuse to play it, giving me the message above.

really not knew at this but it says exactly when i try to copy to removable disk(d:) that windows media player doesnt detect any storage media in the selected device.insert media into device... its really annoying..oh and i use roxio cd creator..or something like that..please ...

I am having problems, with media player renaming my files incorrectly. i try to rename them and put them back to where they are suppose to go, but it wont allow me to change the file name. Anyone know how to fix this? thanks much

No sound plays thru speakers in Win Media Player 10 when I try to play CD or video content. Same sounds/music CDs work fine with iTunes player, Creative Labs Player. Speakers work just fine. Can hear Windows start-up sounds and other "beeps", etc. Tested DirectX sound functions ...
