Hi folks, wondering if you could perhaps me out with a strange little thing.  
I'm trying to play a .wmv file, but Windows Media Player  8, Windows Media
Player 6.4 and Windows Media Player Classic  6.4.8.2 all flatly refuse to
play it, giving me the message above.

I just finished building a new PC and I cant get WMP 10 to play my DVD's.
What happens is that when I press play the status bar will wind up saying
"Finished" after having done nothing. The only way I can get it to play is
run my Intervidea player plug in and close it and start ...

I recently downloaded windows media player 10. I have encountered some
problems that causes my computer to crash. When trying to uninstall WMP 10,
it says: do you want to roll back to WMP 9? If I click ok, it says it failed
to roll back. I can not re-install WMP 10 or 9: it says ...

really not knew at this but it says exactly when i try to copy to removable
disk(d:) that windows media player doesnt detect any storage media in the
selected device.insert media into device... its really annoying..oh and i use
roxio cd creator..or something like that..please ...

after trying to change the region from 1 to 2 error cood1165 pop up,disable
me to change the region.Each time the message sas that this is my last change
,and asking me if i would like to contineu ,i say yes and than problem this

I am having problems, with media player renaming my files incorrectly. i try
to rename them and put them back to where they are suppose to go, but it wont
allow me to change the file name. Anyone know how to fix this? thanks much
