Can't Install WMP 9 or 1021 Feb 2005 18:43 GMT2
When I try to install either WMP 9 or 10, I receive a message that  the
version is incompatable with my version of Windows (XP).  I downloaded the
versions of ( and 10 for XP.  Can anyone tell me what is happening?

When I try to play any CD (original ones) or try to play the WMA i've
recorded from them by extracting audio, i get this error.
I've tried to reinstall WM10, all codeds, recreate an image of a cd, nothing
works.

I just installed Windows 2000 for 1998 and now can't listen to music.  I get
this message "Cannot play back the audio stream: no audio hardware is
available, or the hardware is not responding.(Error=80040256)" What do I need
to do?  I have a HP Pavilion, yeh, kind of old.

Ripping a book on CD, using WMP 10, the tracks are converted to MP3 and
listed in an order that is different than on the CD. Is there a fix for
this??

WMP downloads the CD info, rips the tracks (in any format), adds tags to the
tracks, then fails to read the tags back into the library.
The tags are in the files, because in explorer the tooltip shows all the info.
The tags are written correctly by WMP10 for other users on the same ...

I am playing a CD((the Killers)) and it plays fine, but for some reason it
wont let me save it or add the songs to a playlist. i tried ripping it, but
it finished and i took the cd out and it went away. I dont know what to do..i
just downloaded version 10 yesterday and i dont ...
