Windows Media Player runs very slowly, since I've installed WindowsXP Service
Pack 2!
And often, when I open a file, the following error message appears:

i think that the new version is a little misleading, if I want to search &
listen to a radio station, all I get is offers to buy and download tracks.
Isn't it possible to listen to online radio anymore without having to
download plug-ins & pay a monthly fee?

to correct this error i am told that under media player to click on the tools
menu, click options.on the players tab, under player settings, ckeck the
connect to internet check box. but this box does not exsist. how do i correct
this error?
