This error occurs when i try and play an "avi" file from a CD

I've encountered error message C00D11CD while using Windows Media Player to
burn cds. I am using version 9. I am running WinXP. I was trying to burn some
songs onto a CDRW. Thanks.

I first want to say that my English is not to good, so sorry for any bad words.
I wanted to play a movie but i got the next error:
Can not play file. The player doesn't supporters the filletyp of codes that
is used to compromise the file.  (The file is a .mpg file)

i used to have sound on my pc but now windows media player is detecting that
there is no sound device installed on my pc anymore. is there any way i can
turn it back on or reinstall it without any cd rom? if not what can i do?

I am also experiencing the wizard with interface not registered when I try to
burn a cd and cannot find any answers anywhere, please help

Day before yesterday this error would come up whenver I tried to play a song
that I downloaded from MSN Music.  Now I cannot play any of those songs that
I paid for.  
I am using XP media center edition and Windows Media Player 10.

Big AVI file (350 MB) plays great, but at certain fixed points, about
every minute or 3, it barely skips the video (fraction of a second) or
it skips the video while making this "brrrr" sound. Then it picks up
immediately and continues just fine.

I want to customize the heirarchy of nodes in the library.  Today, when I
expand an Artist node, I see that artist's albums.  Within an album node is
all of that album's songs.  I'd like to remove the album node altogehter so
that I see all of the songs directly under the artist ...

I have a new laptop and have about 75GB of tunes I need to move from my old
laptop. In addition, I'm moving from WMP9 to WMP10. To further complicate
matters, the tunes will span a couple of different volumes on the new machine.

I recently updated my son's Windows 2K Window Media Player to 9 and am
getting this problem. Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and
reregistering jscript.dll and vbscript.dll etc but no success. I did
notice that WMP runs under administrator group but not as power users
