i have old music i downloaded and it saya error unable to find lisend help

I was saving a MP3 audio file from a location in my D:\  drive to the Windows
Media Player 10,  and got the forementioned error code:
                                                             COOD1199
Cannot play this file.

Already tried link given in your previous posts and blog for player 9.  I am
unable to update to vers. 9 from 7 due to same "inability to detect
connection" message.   Therefore my Player Tools Option screen does not match
suggestion.  Any ideas?  Unable to play a lot of audio. ...
