I can play any more DVD's for region because I have exhausted the maximum
allowable in switching regions. Does this mean I cannot play any region DVD
anymore? Is there a way around this please?

I just downloaded the current free Media Player but have no sound and I get
an "unknown error" message that directs me to ask a question as to cause, but
no info to explain or troubleshoot.  Anyone els have this happen?

I've been using windows media player 9.00.00.3250.  When I try to play movies
that are downloaded from a hub on my college campus, it says that it has
detected an unknown error and that there was an "error downloading codec."  
Then it can't play the visual part of the movie, but ...

A few days ago, videos began playing in black and white. Every once in a
while they will be in color but usually are black and white. It doesn't
matter if it's a video clip off the internet or a movie DVD that I have in my
CD-ROM drive.

I keep encountering this error message (C00D11C0) while downloading some
movies in wmv format.
The message I get is: You've encountered error message C00D11C0 while using
Windows Media Player.

Windows media player will not allow me to open video or sound files from my
mail.
have had not problem with other sources but when I attempt to download from
my mail I get the error code c000d11cd

Whenever I play a CD, I can never get the media information.

The error says that WMP cannot play the file because there is a problem with the sound device.  The speakers on my computer are plugged in and the control panel says "no audio devices."  I just got the version 9 of WMP for XP, and the error occurs anytime I try to open a music ...
