Until now my Windows Media Player 10 has played DVD:s perfectly fine
(together with Microsoft XP Professional Service Pack 2) but yesterday all of
a sudden I got, and since then keep getting the following message when trying
to play ordinary DVD:s (DVD video format), borrowed ...

I receive error C00D1199 when trying to download a wmv email.  It works fine
on my work computer, what do I do to fix my problem on my home computer?  Any
help would be greatly appreciated!

I insert WMP in a web page, hide it (inserted into a DIV which is hidden) and use it to play WMA files.
that work fine but on a wmp8 based station when playing, the animation window appears :/
how can i hide it ?

I have WMP 10 and PPC 2003 Ipaq.  I try to sync a song to PPC as 64kbps and
it always ends up original file size of 256kbps, even if I change Quality to
64kbps.  Does changing the quality work for anyone else?

Is there a way to make WMP *not* create subfolders when ripping tracks
to a specific location?
If I tell it to place the ripped files in c:\My Documents\My Music\, it
will not place the files there, but create a new folder with the artist

I am trying to burn songs to a CD using Media Player 9 and I keep getting
a message saying " Windows Media Player encountered an unknown error."

I hate to be repeatitive but I have this stupid error code!!! I've downloaded
music from Napster which shouldn't have any license stuff to stop it going to
mp3 players (???) yet still getting error code.  I've managed to get files on

I have purchased music files from a few of the online services.  After I
have downloaded them, I have to search my hard disk to find them.  They are
burried deep in a "My Music" folder on my C-drive where I don't want them.
I use Windows explorer to move them to my data drive.
