i was wanting to burn some files with windows media player 10 on to a TDK CD-R AUDIO disc but it would not let me why is this

What tool can show me the codecs used to create a media file? Is there a tool that will let me change the default codec used by Media Player and other apps?

Just upgraded to Windows Media Player 10 and it sounds awesome. The only problem is that the artists voice seems to be in the background and the music overpowers his voice. What could the problem be here?
