i was wanting to burn some files with windows media player 10 on to a TDK

What tool can show me the codecs used to create a media file?  Is there a
tool that will let me change the default codec used by Media Player and
other apps?

Just upgraded  to Windows Media Player 10 and it sounds awesome.  The only
problem is that the artists voice seems to be in the background and the music
overpowers his voice.  What could the problem be here?

I just wanted to say that this is one of the worst forums i have ever been
to. The Admins are not helpful at all and all they do is post the same ready

I have the 9.0 series.
These errors only occur on the "small" screen windows media e-mails i receive.

When I try to play shockwave files that I have saved to my computer, (which
origonally came from the internet) I get a message saying that the player
won't play it because my current security settings won't allow it.  I've
tried changing several settings, but none have worked.  ...
