I have been trying to play a downloaded limewire video n my media player, but each time I do, the message that the player has encoutered an error with code C00D11CD keeps appearing. Please can anyone tell me if there is a way to get past this and what I should do ?

I feel like a virus has attacked my computer. Every once in a while (usually at start up) all of a sudden the media player starts playing a movie adervisement. Sometimes in the middle of my work! It is driving me nuts. Why is microsoft doing this to my computer?!?!?!?
