No sound in Windows Media Play and get error message C00D11BA. Error message says sound card may not be installed or in use by another app. Can't see that it is but hope somebody out there can give me a clue.

media Player has recently displayed an error saying that my Media Library had become corrupt and that I shoudl restart the program and then search for music and videos to rebuild the library. Problem is, everytime i click on the library button it freezes completely,
