I'm not sure why it does this but I just d/l a few movie files some of them AVI and I get this error message when they open up in Windows Media Play Windows Media Player cannot play the file. One or more codecs required to play the file could not be found.

I just updated to Windows Media Player 10, but when it was finished installing a box popped up saying,"Windows Media Player was not properly installed." I've downloaded it from the suggested site but it still doesn't work. Any ideas on how to make it work?
