I am getting the COOD1199 error when I try to play mpeg2 files. I thought that it may have been the way that the disc I was using was coded, but I tried a professionaly made disc with mpeg1 and mpeg2 files, the mpeg1 files would work but the mpeg2 files would cause the error ...

I am using media player version 9.0 but had the same problem before I upgraded yesterday. I am connected via a broadband connection. Media Guide downloads. Windows 98 with IE 6.0. Still happens if a do a fresh restart. I ran fix internet

For no apparent reason, I sometimes cannot listen to online radio for days at a time. I follow the same steps to find my station through the radio guide and get this message. Does anyone at MicroSoft have a clue?!

The message goes as follows: Window Media Player cannot play, synchronize or burn a protected file because an error occured while verifying the license. COOD11DA? Files that I once could burn to cd's, synchronize to my mp3 player is not working now.
