I'm trying to play some streaming media files (urls with the 'mms' prefix)
and WMP keeps saying that I don't have any streaming protocols selected. But
when I go into Tools->Options->Network, all the streaming protocols are
grayed out and I can't select any of them. Any ideas why ...

I am using Windows Media Player 10 on a Microsoft XP x64 operating system and
out of the blue the Media Player will not maximize.
When I click on the program to start, it sits on my taskbar and looks to be
working, but when I right click the mouse to maximize it does nothing.

I was happily using Windows Media Player version 9 when I was prompted that
a newer release existed. I elected to download and install version 10. Since
then
I have been out of commision. The install sequence ends with this message.

i use windows media player 9 series on windows XP and every time i go into
the media guid, to search or watch a music vidio this error comes up, please

I have searched the forum already and I can't find any help.
I have Windows XP pro service pack 2 and WMP version 10.00.00.3646
Whenever I try to add one of my WMV files to the library it refuses and says
'the property coud not be found' and a button to look on the web for help.
