I get this error message whenever I try to play a file I downloaded from an
online store like Napster, etc.

When I move the cursor on "File" in the upper left corner in Windows Media
Player a list of "incomplete" files appears. These are incomplete files

p2p file sharing site and media player can't play them. How can I delete

downloaded windows media player 10 although problem existed with wmp 9 as
well ! I am trying to open 'funny visual emails' sent to me by friends which

th error message is :Windows Media Player cannot play the file because the
specified protocol is either not supported by the Player or not supported by
the server.
