My daughter has mountains of songs on iTunes on her computer.  My wife
has a Memorex MMP8500 MP3 player that isn't compatible with iTunes, but
is compatible with WMP.  Is there a way (legal, of course) to move
songs from one computer with iTunes to another with WMP?

I am currently running a computer runned by our school system. This is my

I've set up ORB on my laptop (software to stream media).
I know that it's working because I can get live streaming video to my PDA
(HP Ipaq Hx4700 with wmp10)
However, on my desktop PC (winXP sp2, wmp10), it doesn't work. what happens

I'm a newbie, so sorry if this is a lame question.
I'm writing a VP app using the WMP SDK.  The sample VB application uses
an enumerated type called IWMPCdrom.  In the drop-down menu are oodles
of other WMP-related types.

Is there a way to bring up the playback speed controller which is
normally in the View -> Enhancements menu when the media player is used
to playback a source embedded in a web page?  In full screen mode, I
don't see the menu with View selection.  I know that by right clicking

Everytime i try to double click on a song to play from my library, it
automatically exits from Media Player. How do i fix this????????

i get no sound of music or video files unless i am actuaaly logged into a
chat room on yahoo messenger, what can be the cause of this, as soon as i
leave a chat rom the sound goes off again

I can open WMP if I click a shortcut to the program itself, but if I try to
open WMP by clicking on, say, an .mpg movie, I'll hear the clip's sound, but
WMP will not be visible. I've seen the link to

How can you create my own Subcategories under "All Music" in the "Contents
Pane" in WMP10?  In particular I would like to have a subcategory of
"Artist" rather than the default "Album Artist" (I think it was previously
"Artist" in WMP9?)

in wmp 10 on xp mce, if genre field of mp3 changed then sync to player,
eg samsung yepp, then i dont see the genre change on the player.
do i have to delete all from the player and reload to change genre of
existing player mp3 file????????????

My name is Sihn Starr Rossi and i am in the band The Coil Of Sihn.  i master
and produce all of the band's cds and i was trying to get our album titles,
song titles, lyrics and band information to appear in Windows Media Player
when you insert the cd into a computer's cd drive.

I am have manually entered a lot of track information for MP3s and I am
wondering where this information is stored.  I need to rebuild my PC and
don't want to have to type it all in again

WMP10, Windows XP, dial-up... I am trying to download "free" lectures from a
web site so I can burn them onto CDs. They are about 47 minutes long and each
one I download is missing from 5 to 45 seconds from the end. Help Please,

I ripped a mix CD to mp3. All the small mix parts are automatically ripped to
separate mp3 files because there are track breaks between the tracks. When
