Ok, i am wanting to convert a file from iTunes for use on Windows Media
Player. How do I do this?

I have tried playing my MP3's on Windows Media Player 9 and now 10 and both
times the sound is of terrible quality. Its not my speakers, i've had them
changed. Its not my MP3's, they work fine on other Media Players. Whats going

Can anyone help me configure my PC to run a speech or music file at
pre-scheduled times of the day? I can see how to run task scheduler and I can
get it to start running WMP, but I can't get it to automatically run a
specified audio file (wav etc.).

I upgraded from version 9 to version 10 because I read that it would support
mp3s.
However, I got the 0xC00D0FAA message when I tried to rip mp3s from a CD.

Just a few days ago windows media player has decided it will only play cd

My embedded player works fine until i download any media player, then i get
an invasion of chipmunks and a general increase in speed. When i unstall the
player everything retuns to normal. I've tried reinstalling drivers, turning

I can open all AVIs (movie cllips, sound and video) with media player with
no problelm ,however when I attach certain ones  as a file to an E-mail  and
send, with copy to me and then open the attached file  I only get sound but

i'm using the latest version of media player and no problem at all, but then
version 10 came along and downloaded it and the problems started there.  
every time i tried to use WMP 10, an error message pops up saying, this

I got a disk from my nephew in Iraq but need the mplayer2.exe to play it.  
Please, where do I get it?  I have seen it listed in many places but no sign
pointing "get mplayer2.exe here''  and I am using XP svc pk 2.

I just installed WMP 9 and I was planning on playing some .AVI files with it,
yet whenever i play .avi files on it, it always says "unknown error."  Is
there someway around this?  Or is there another AVI player that I could
possibly download somewhere?  Any suggestions?

Recently discovered all .dat (data files) on my computer now have the MS
Media Player icon and are treated as "movie clips" and of course cannot be
accessed.  I have no idea how this occured, I am using Winows 98se and Media
Player 9.
