Can anyone tell me how to get around this error code. Trying to play an avi
file about three mins long and having no success. The message 'Class not
registered' also pops up. Thanks!

I downloaded some music from a reliable source but get this error message on
media player 10. C00D1199. Codec used to compress file is not supported. Any
idea how to sort this out?

I'm using Windows XP and my WMP is version 10.00.00.3646 and I'm trying to
set my WMP on mini-mode (which I've done before) and in order to do that I
understand you go to a blank space on the taskbar, then click on toolbars and

Ok, for some reason, everytime I click on "Play" at the top, it freezes.
View, File, Tools, Options and Help all work fine, but if I click on Play, no
matter how I do it, it freezes immediately. What's wrong?

I have found that when I load an entire folder of music from the hard drive
the WMP always swaps the first file with the last. So if I want to hear them
in the original order I have to stop the play and go to Select Playlist
Options to reorder. If I only load songs number 2 ...

Approximately half of the internet links that open a windows media player to
read a video only play the sound, not the video.
Nothing is ever displayed, before buffering or when playing.
I have version windows media player 10.
