WMP 10 Won't Play Video With WMV File But Plays Sound OK14 Jul 2005 23:56 GMT1
I downloaded several "On-demand TechNet Webcast" files (wmv files) but when I
try to play them in WMP 10 or WinAmp I get to hear the sound but get no
picture on my laptop running Win XP Pro SP2. I have a desktop PC running Win
XP Pro SP1 and WMP 9 and all the videos play fine ...

I can't drag and drop anything to the now playing list in media player9.  I'm

Can someone tell me how to shut down Media Player's propensity for
automatically ripping every CD I put in the drive?  I'm using Real Player,
have turned off everything in the "File Type" screen in Media Player, but it

My windows media player goess off to the right and is not visible when I open
it or insert a cd in to play, plays just fine. I have uninstalled it and have
reinstalled it and I have also now loaded player 10 and it still does the
