WTH? I got this error message: class not registered, when I started to

I downloaded WMP10 and some skins from MSs site. If I go to Skin Chooser,
the preview shows but clicking Apply Skin does nothing. If I click the
button in the bottom right to go to skin mode, I get the default skin.
Any ideas? Most skins work but some do not.

The help says go to Display Properties dialog box and adjust the
horizontal pixels slider. Where do I find this dialog box and the
pixel slider? It's not in Media Player and nor does this option appear
