I'm downloadig a song in mp3 format sound and windows media player supports
mp3 format sound right?And it said windows media cannot play this file. The
Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that
was used to compress the file.

Error Code C00D11CD.  9.0 media player.  Windows 2000 computer.  I'm actually
trying to listen to a podcast that is a MP3 file.

when i insert a music cd it automatically copies to the library even though i
have the buttons unchecked i have xp home with media player 9
how can i stop this happening?
any help would be appreciated

i am having trouble copying music onto the computer. when i try to all i get is an unspecified error message with no error code or other information. please help.
