I am having problems viewing .wmv videos on a fresh XP SP2
installation.  The videos look 'psychadelic' (pinkish and starry).
Running P4 3.0 box, Asus P4P800SE MB, nVidia FX5500 video adapter,
Direct X 9.0c.

My .tivo files are not playing in WMP 9, even though it is supported. I have
the soure forge codec installed, but on calling Tivo Support was told that it
is probably not the primary codec, thence the .tivo files are picking up the
wrong codec! My questions are:

I encounter that error message when either trying to create a playlist or
update a previously made list.  It then also says, "Unspecified error".  I
new @ this so here goes... if I try to chose tracks from an entirely recorded
CD and add them to other playlists, new or otherwise, ...

I just want to add the currently playing track to my playlist, which hasn't
been created yet either. I click on, add to playlist, then, a message box
