I am having problems viewing .wmv videos on a fresh XP SP2
installation.  The videos look 'psychadelic' (pinkish and starry).
Running P4 3.0 box, Asus P4P800SE MB, nVidia FX5500 video adapter,
Direct X 9.0c.

My .tivo files are not playing in WMP 9, even though it is supported. I have
the soure forge codec installed, but on calling Tivo Support was told that it
is probably not the primary codec, thence the .tivo files are picking up the
wrong codec! My questions are:

I encounter that error message when either trying to create a playlist or
update a previously made list.  It then also says, "Unspecified error".  I
new @ this so here goes... if I try to chose tracks from an entirely recorded
CD and add them to other playlists, new or otherwise, ...

I just want to add the currently playing track to my playlist, which hasn't
been created yet either. I click on, add to playlist, then, a message box
popps up saying that there is an unknown error.

This new install of WMP 10 realld distorts the colors in some video
clips that used to be just fine on WMP 9.  The colorrs are washed out,

I try to play a DVD I cannot remove the subtitles. I've tried through the DVD
menu's to turn them off, but they continue to appear. I have also tried right

often my PC completely freezes.

I am trying to play a movie copied to a cd. My laptop plays it fine but my
