This is the message I get when I try to play my movie. It worked fine before. Please help! Thanks! Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file.

Hi group, Maybe somebody can shade some light on the subject. I have a desktop running XP Home, plenty of memory and space. I Was running WMP9 and it kept loading itself everytime the computer would start. I figured I would update to WMP10

Hi, some thing that really missed to WMP9 was that it didn't arrange all your library files into folders according to the metadata in the file (at least didn't always work) . Is this problem solved ?

I recently had to send my laptop in for repair. When I got it back, they had wiped everything out and reloaded it all. Now video clips won't play from other websites and I think it has something to do with my Windows Media Player. Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Why is it that whenever I play an original CD (not burned) my Windows Media Player (v9.0) won't show me any information regarding the song. This includes song name, artist, length, etc. It either tells me Unknown Artist etc. or simply Track 1, 2, 3...
