I have an intermittent fault in that WMP 10 tries to open certain websites.  
WMP opens and tells me it cannot open a file type.  I know it can't as it is
a website so I would not expect WMP to open the file.  How can I stop this
happening?

Hi, how do I change the sound type being used to process any music I play on
WMP9? eg if I wanted to process the music so it sounded like Jazz, HipHop,
Theatre, etc?? I know this can be done with Musicmatch, so can it be done
with WMP9??

Basically we have a problem where Windows Media Player wont launch if you
click on a link e.g mms://server/file.wma.  We find this is because we dont
have the run command.  This was suppost to be fixed in IE5.01 but we are
still experiencing the problem.  Has anyone else got this ...

Okay, I think my CD burner isn't properyl installed, but I dont know how that

I posted this question previously but received no response and I'm now really
pulling my hair out.
Have tried making an audio CD burning them in Windows Media Player 10. The
songs are all recorded in MP3 format.

I received the following error message when I downloaded a .wmv file from a
friend.  This is not the first time this happens.  I can play existing file

I have Window Media 9 Series, and I noticed Monday that I cannot listen to
radio stations as I could in the past.  I get an error code COOD10B5.  
That's nice and all, but that tells me nothing as far a what the problem is
or how to fix it.

hi, i just bought RW discs and i'm wondering why if i burn songs onto a cd, i
can't erase or burn new songs onto it, i mean that IS the reason i purchased
them over the regular writable only cds. is that not an advanced option yet
with microsoft or what, cos i feel i got ripped ...

I just downloaded Media Player 10 and I can not hear anything.  I tried the
various volume and mute buttons but I get nothing.  It shows that it is
playing the music but neither my headset or pc speakers produce sound. Sound
works fine on other programs on my computer.

I put a dvd-rom into drive--everything locked up, dvd would not play-computer
locked up, and I had to turn it off with power button. Error message came up
and said "A device driver installed on computer caused a problem." Also it

Can anyone suggest something else I could try in regard to this error
message? It says I need to slow the speed or try a different brand of CD's.  
I've done both even though one of the brands that won't work is a type I have
always used.  I don't know what else to try.
