This happens to me everytime I try to open an audio/video file on the MMS protocol. It says it can't do it because it doesn't have the protocol BUT if I go in the Network Tab in Windows Media Player Options all the protocol listed are

After I rip songs from my audio CDs or d/l mp3s I do a file search in the computer I notice that it copies the files more than once. This affects my storage space (Total space 38.2GB Free Space 24.8). So I'll see the same song 5 times in the folders I direct it to.

conc: WMP10; WindowsXP home. I have some WAV files on hard disk, copied from LP. Do I have to burn them on a CDR before ripping to MP3 (orWMA) Can't I do it directly from HD?
