i have a rio cali 128 mp3 device.  it will play tunes in mp3 format, but it
skips all music i put on my computer via windows media.  

Can I get the windows media player in an other language than english? I'm
from Denmark and would perfer if it was the danish language.

Recently, my Windows media player hasn't being playing clearly.
There is always a white fog over all video's.
I can't watch anything anymore with it.
It is the only application I have video issues with.

I've had Windows Media PLayer the whole time I've had this computer, over
three years. I never had a problem with it starting up when I started my

C00d11CD Cannot play the file

Just got a new tower running XP. CD's play fine but DVD's will not. In some
cases I get to the initial meneu screen and then get a non respond error .
Other DVD,s get past the first DVD menu select then hang.
Any fixes?

Often when playing audio files straight out of my media library it prompts me
to download and contacts the server to re-download the mp3 codec and then
prompted to install its not a major concern but it started happenning all of
a sudden and i find it frustrating mostly only when ...

I have downloaded a large WMV file 29Mb - it only plays frame by frame in
wedis player. Smaller ones say 10Mb play ok. Why is this? and what can I do.
I'm running ver 9 on Win98.

I'm using Media Player 10, I've created a burn list and when I go to start
the burn the Media player hangs on the first song at the point of
inspection.  I've removed the first song and tried again, then I rebooted
the computer and tried again.  I've deleted the whole list, ...

When I try to play IV50 (Indeo Video) encoded AVI files directly from
the internet using WMP, I get error 00040242 or 8004011.  But if I
download them first, they play fine.  Other encodings I've experimented
with (mjpg, mp42) work fine directly from the internet.  Quicktime also

I can't download scanned and attached media files (i. e. .mpeg nor .avi)
from Hotmail. The WMP launches the error C00D1198.
However, I can see any Media files from Internet on WMP.
The proxy setting is on "Automatic detection".

I recently upgraded to WM 10.0 and find that the only way to chose music is
with WM in the minimized state and by clicking the "Quick Access Panel"
button. When music begins playing, if I maximize WM there is still only a big
black hole where the library info would normally be.  ...

i have just updated my windows media player to version 10 and restarted my
computer...and now it won't play audio cd's for this strange error message
that has no   error id number...it says that it can't play the audio cd due
to some conflict with not recognizing the scheme...?.. ...

Recently my Windows Media Player 10 stopped playing sound - I tested both
.mp3 files and CDs. The visualition is working fine and everything looks
normal but there is no sound. The speakers are working fine because the
normal Windows sounds, etc., are heard.
