Hey all. I have just bought a new CD and noticed that 1 of the songs on
there (for what ever reason) is ridiculously quiet, so much so that I have
to turn up the volume to max to even hear it at all. Suffice to say that,

I use 2 computer to access the same music files. I rated songs on one
computer.  how do I get those ratings to show up on the other computer?
I'm also having issues with the library showing multiple instances of the
same song.  Maybe I need to use "monitoring folders" to fix ...

I have the english version of WMA 10. And when i play chinese song titles,
the song titles become like @#$%^@# and stuff. So i installed the windows xp
fiels for chinese trad and simplified. Now WMA 10 shows some song titles in
chinese but there are a lot of other chinese song ...

I have two computers networked, both running Windows Media Player 10 with
DIVX codecs installed.
When running a large avi file on the remote computer, Windows Media Player

It didn't used to load slow, it was very fast like 3 secs now it takes like 2
minutes...
What happened? and what can i do to fix it?

Only I'm about 1/3 of the way through and now the ripping process is taking
f-o-r-e-v-e-r... When I first started each song would rip in just a few
seconds now it might take up to a minute or two per track.  I am ripping them
at 64kbps in wma format.  Would it help if I don't ...

I cannot play even the trailers on the wmp website.  It keeps giving me
various codec errors.  Any suggestions.  I've installed it again and still
have the problems.  I wanted to reinstall 9 but Microsoft indicates it is no
longer available for XP.  Any suggestions?

I'm trying to play audio files through Windows Media Player 10 but keep
getting a message telling me it won't play as the required codecs are
missing. How do I know what codecs it needs and where will I get them? I've
tried reinstalling WMP 10 but that hasn't solved the problem.

I have a problem with WMP where it will start by itself and then when I
close it, it will start again either almost immediately or after some seconds
or so.  Sometimes it gets so bad that I can barely type (because it becomes
the active window)!

This is in regard to a mediacenter PC but I am posting here assuming that it
is actually a Media player problem!
