I have a windows media file that i cannot for the life of me figure out how to delete. when i right click it the delete option is not even avaialble...if i highlight the file and try to hit the delete button it will not work...can someone help?

I have XP sp2 and WMP 10. O.K, I go to 'veiw', 'enhancements' and then 'video settings' to change the brightness so I can watch a DVD, right? But whenever I change the slider values for any of the settings, it reverts

is it possible to upgrade wmp without being connected to the net? my child's laptop is not connected, but I would like to upgrade from v.8 to v.10. I have already upgraded on my machine but it required on line verification. Is there an alternative?
