Hello,
I have a problem when I try to play a genuine dvd in Media player 10.
I get this message C00D1163: A problem occurred with digital copyright
protection.

When I rip a CD or when a download manager puts a song I buy on my drive and
inserts the contents in my Windows Media player, the order of the songs gets
mixed up!! The problems occurs at the file level. So all songs are in the
folder, but when I click song 1, the files turns out ...

WMP plays wma's for only 40 seconds. Why?12 Sep 2005 14:10 GMT2
First of all, I have WMP 10 with all the updates. I have individualized
it. I have downloaded the codecs for XP ( I have XP home edition,
400mhz CPU, ATI rage sound card). I have selected all of the audio
devices (speakers) and it doesn't make a difference. I deleted

After building a playlist  I attempted to Copy the playlist to CD or Device,
the media player drop down list of available devices does NOT show either of
my cd writer devices.
Does anyone know why or how to correct  this problem?

After not having any trouble with the program, suddenly, WMP stopped working,
so I downloaded and installed it again (V10)..  Still no joy. I click on the
desktop shortcut, click on the All Programs menu and only get a flutter on
the screen.

WMP will not shutdown and continue playing in background11 Sep 2005 05:28 GMT2
I've had this problem with Windows Media Player for several months now. I've
tried numerous reformats of my harddrive to see if that solve the problem and
tried updating WMP to it's latest version.
My problem is when exiting WMP, it will continue to play in the background

I upgraded from wmp9 to wmp10 and now when I click burn It tells me no CD
burner has been detected, press f5 to refresh player.  When I press f5, it
tells me that it is an unknown error.  What can I do?

I have a windows 98 and when i play any audio it plays it but with no sound.
A message came up telling me that i needed a codec that was not there so i
downloaded it but there is still no sound when i play the Audio what can i do

The WMPlayer main window doesn't show on the screen although the tab is shown
on the taskbar. I have reinstall the WMP10 and there is no error at all.
Anyone know why and how to solve it?

How to get WMP10 to load and start playing when windoze starts? I want to be
able to restart windoze and walk away and have WMP start playing a playlist
once windoze is running - it serves my whole house and I hate waiting around
for a complete boot to then manually start playing ...
