I'm trying to play some old IR32 avi files on WMP 10 and they don't work. I have installed all of the codecs required for this avi and WMP still does not play it. They play in Quicktime perfectly. What is causing this problem? Windows XP Pro V.2002 SP2

There is no sound when I play something in WMP. Sounds work fine with all other programs, just not this one. For example: When playing an MP3 file, it plays as usual...just no sound...visualizations work as if it's just fine.

I am using a MP3 player that needs the files to be installed in a directory /audios/music. But when I use Windows Media Player 10 for synchronisation , it always put the files in directory /. Then I have to use the explorer to move the files.
