I am trying to play streaming audio from the internet and it looks as if it is connected and playing, but I am not getting any sound. I have checked the volume. I can play local MP3s or CDs without any issues. Please let me know what else to look for.

Hi when I used to have the older version of WMP, i remember being able to get the album info off the net easier than now. actully, with the new 10 version, i cant figure remember how to do it. 1- can I stick a cd into the pc and get the info of the name/album art etc?

For WMP9, are there approved codecs available for .ape, .flac, and .ogg file types? I searched Microsoft websites, but the search returned nothing. Anyone have information or codec download links? Are .ape, .flac, and .ogg codecs included in WMP10?

On WMP 10, how can I change MP3 rip quality? Mine is set at 128kbps for the lowest, then 192kbps. Where are the other choices that I wish to rip at? like 56kbps or 160kbps?

Been having some sporatic problems with Windows Media Player on a Windows98SE system, and I think I now see the problem: Windows Media Player 9 is installed, but I found, in a separate subdirectory, Windows Media Player 6 is ALSO installed!
