I don't know what has happened I am unable to play any movies that I had
been able to play previously on my comp, there is a program on my comp
called the viewpoint media player which has associated itself with all movie
files, and seems to play through windows media player yet ...

Are there any switches that I can use to force WMP to download the file
temporarily before playing it. I need to get seeking working while

from a Web Server and the only way it seems is to download it and play

Error message comes up saying:    "An internal application error has occured."
This happens when trying to open windows media player 10.   and I have
reinstalled the software, and reinstalled service pack 2...  can anyone help
me?...

how do i do this? I bought a gateway 20 gb mP3 player that only works
supposebly with 9 only,  is this wrong is there some kind of driver out there
that GW does not know about that allows use with this mp3 player?  Well
anyways let me know?!!!!!

mount points from Windows Media services - one live audio feed generated from

can't make it display a .jpg file correctly on a wide aspect ratio screen, in
this case a Dell Inspiron 6000 notebook.  Only a small portion of the image

no longer able to play streaming video that requires WMP and does not offer
alternative programs.  i click on video link - status bar reads "connecting,"
then immediately reads "ready" (no buffering and no video).  clicking play
button results in same.  streaming works if non-WMP ...

when at the cmt web site  (country music television)  cmt.com  I can not get

All else (album & track titles and artist) shows except the album cover. It
used to, now it doesn't.
I've uninstalled and re-installed; followed all instructions, but it's still

This should be really simple, but can find no answer anywhere.  WMP10 is not
displaying any Album or Track info for any CD's- retail or burned. ITunes
shows it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

when ever i play an mpeg or avi file the frame rate is shown during playback.
It appears in the top left hand corner of the screen along with the CPU load,
Input Size and the Output Size.
I have tried just about everything to get rid of this.

I have uninstalled/ reinstalled. (and system restores)
I have manually deleted the programme files and reinstalled from my original
XP disc.
I am at my wits end with MP10
