Further to my earlier email please find below the message I am receiving when
trying to play videos on cmt.com. The strange thing is that I am only having
difficulies with this particular web site. Can anyone help me?

I am running Windows SE (All Updates have been applied) and Windows Media
Player 9.0.  If I try to play a CD or Wave file I get this error code.
I also am not getting any sound when I play videos.  
I can play CD's using the "CD Player" in the the "Accessories" section of

I get a message saying rip failed as i do not have valid mp3 encoder.

First off, I'm on Windows XP, SP2, and I'm running version 10.00.00.3802 WMP.
When I try to play any sound file, I can see a visualization and the bars

My wife can't play a CD on her computer.  WMP9 wants to copy all tracks to
the hard drive, even though the box that would allow this is _not_checked.  
She can click the Stop Copy button at the top, but what a hassle.  How can
this be fixed, please?

The bloody media player will not allow me to sign in.  I've tried removing it
(ha!), and redownloading it, but nothing seems to work.  It claims that I can

I am running a dell w/ xp and the latest version of media player.  I
rip my cd's at 192/wma and when I sync to my 1g mp3 player I try to
convert the bitrate down by checking convert as required, and by
adjusting the slider.  When I sync I wind up with a 6-7 kb file that

click help and updates, and OK when screen shows that the player is up to
date, I see about 3-5 seconds of the playing file and it returns to black

Does anyone know how to save portion of the streaming video to file? I watch
it through MS media player. Is there is plug-ins for this purpose?
