When I open the win media player, I normally get a 'corrupt file' at the
beginning. Some times it will play about 1/2 way through then say the same
thing. Is this due to a setting or microsoft screwup?

I try to burn mpeg files and it tells me an error occured..."Window Media
Player cannot play this file.  The player may not support the file type or
might not support the codec that was used to compress the file."
The file plays just fine and dandy, I just cannot get it to burn, ...

When I try to install Windows Media Player 10 for windows xp it says my pc
must have 32 bit but my disply only goes as high as 24 bit?? So am I hooped
??Or is 32 bit an option I dont know about. Help.

Can someone please respond to this post? There are several other users
reporting the same issue and none have been answered. We all have the new
Gateway MP3 photo jukebox which appears in "the plays for sure" list. It for

I have been ripping some legit cds that I purchased so I could have access to
them on my computer.  The problem is this: the songs are getting messed up in
the ripping process.  The songs will be mixed up in the middle, randomly cut

I can burn an audio disc, no problem.  But when I try to burn a data disc
