Everytime I view a WMV file in windows media player, Windows media player
crashes. Both with the old 9.* and the new 10.*   I tried redownloading the
codecs from microsoft and now my Other player wont play them correctly.  I

I just recently have begun having a problem in that .wmv files that
I've downloaded play back in funny solarized green/blue/pink colors.
Files that I have previously downloaded still play fine. But every file

Streaming embedded movies do not play. Period.  No matter what site I go to,
from Yahoo to CNN News, you name it.  They sit there and load forever and
never play.  But wmv movies alone play fine.  Also, all other movie formats
such as quicktime and real play fine.  Just WMP ...

I have a very entriguing probelm with WMP10:
When I launch WMP10, I have no problems playing video and audio content.  
However, when I specifiy WMP10 as my media player within my browser, it
doesn't seem to play the content.  When I switch to RealPlayer, the content

I have windows media 10 i can play music no problem, I can watch a video clip
from my collection no problem but when I go on the net to watch a streaming

I'm new to this... Could someone please help me? I was trying to add
media info to all files in my library in Media Player 9 and I
accidently named all my files the same thing. I need to undo it. Is

I am trying to play an audio stream from http://kfan.com.  WMP tells me "The
source filter for this file could not be loaded."  When I hover on the link
for the audio stream it is      http://kfan.com/listen.asx     WMP says it
supports .asx files.  I am running Windows XP w/SP2, ...

Autoplaylist does not refresh each time I choose a playlist, so that kinda
defeats the whole purpose.  I'm using WinXP Home SP2.
Can someone pls help?

Is it possible to delete and/or rename folders.Also what does autoplaylist
mean as distinct from playlist. i am new at this!
