I was watching series 1 of scrubs off my ipod and i tried to play the next episode on my list but an error message came up: Windows Media Player has encountered an error "C00D11CD" how can i fix this so that i can watch the episode I want??!!

Hi, i've recently upgraded to XP with media player 10 and i am unable to play any videos, mp3 playback is fine. When i try to load a video it just hangs saying connecting..... and nothing happens.

I have WMP 10 on a new computer (Dell laptop w/XP Home). I set all the options (at least all it would allow me) to NOT connect to the internet, but I can see network traffic happening when I start/stop it. Anyway....my main question:

When I select a text file to view it tries to open it in Windows Media Player 10. I am using Win xp sp2. How do I instruct my system to use wordpad to open all text files. I have tried dening access to Media Player in the Set Program Access and Defaults but the problem persists.
