I have Windows Media Player 10 and Windows XP Home Edition.
I would like to capture an image from WMP from the screen, save it (in My
Pictures, say), then work with it (in Pain Shop Pro 8) for later use in
making a DVD Cover (I use Nero Cover Designer, but could use Works 7).

media player only plays audio from left channel, started recently, roxio
plays ok, nero plays ok, windows sounds ok, just media player.....why???

I am taking a German class online and must send an oral exam to the teacher
via email. How do I go about recording my voice and sending it? Please be

Search works well for "Title" and "Artist" fields but is there away to
expand it to other fields such as Composer?

This is not that big of a problem. It appears that all my media files that
is associated with Windows Media Player 10 have the older Windows Media
Player 9 icon to it. If I go into Windows safe mode, only then the new Media

QUESTION:  How can I stop the first WAV sound playing with SNDREC32
and get it to play another WAV file?

Here are some details of my situation:

The media player plays all music (CDs, mp3s, whatever) and videos, but there
is no sound.  However, the problem seems centralized to Media Player, since
Winamp has no problem.  Any idea why this would occur and how to fix it?
