Since uograding to WMP 10 I have not been able to view videos but the sound is fine - any suggestions on how to correct this?

I was able to play my radio station thru my former windows media player but when I installed windows media player 10 it seemed to install ok but when I try to play it it says An internal application error has occured. Any suggestions.

I just realized that Windows Media Player 9 is NO LONGER my DEFAULT media player. Since I installed a new CD/DVD and Nero 1.4.0.26 (basic version) along with it now Nero Media Player pops up when I need to play video or music.

Why I can't play the file type .rar, it will always show this message "Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file". Can someone help me? Thanks.

Clicking an mpeg will open WMP and the taskbar says its playing, but nothing is happening. Interestingly enough, I've tried playing them with RealPlayer, and that does exactly the same thing.

I am trying to rip music from windows media player 10 onto a miniSD memory card for use in my cell phone. When I rip an mp3 file, it turns up on the miniSD as a wma file. Why? Also, how can I convert the wma files on my player into mp3 files?

I have Windows XP (not sure if SP1 or 2) and whereas my CD's did play a couple of weeks ago, they now do not. I insert the CD,I click "start", "all programs", "windows media player", and the screen comes in "now playing" and it is blank. Can you please help!!!
