I ripped my CDs onto my computer, but now whenever I play them with Windows Media Player v. 10.00.00.3646 the sound pops and crackles. It only does this on my ripped tracks, not on my downloaded ones. How do I fix this? I have Windows XP Home Edition v. 2002 Service Pack 2. ...

We updated the WMP so we could use the online radio feature and download songs from walmart and both sites cannot recognize that we have already updated it. What can I do to make these features see our update. Can anyone help?

I have just installed XP and I installed WMP 10 after that. As everybody knows that WMP 9 and 10 have a little difference in the icon, but the music files still use the icon of WMP 9. I can play them with WMP 10 anyway. How do I change the icon of the music files to WMP 10's?

Ok, I've tried this on two different computers with the same result. With WindowsXP media player 9 I can play all my dvds. I also have an ATI dvd player installed and it works just fine too. if I instal Nero 6.3.1.20 (OEM Suite) I can no longer play dvds in media player 9. An

I weant to record to video tape the vis. effects I get when playing music but for some reason it won't record, it just plays and will not go through to the recorder (ok until I press record) any ideas please?

I'm using WMP 10. When I use the option "search for album information" I get the answer: "You must change the settings for protection of personal information under Functions, Settings to be able to update information about the chosen soundmedia".

All streaming Videos are distorted from the bottom 2/3rd of the screen in Full Screen Mode. They look fine in regular view. Videos that are already on the hard drive (such as MPEG 2 files) look fine in full screen. Only the streamed videos are distorted and blurred.
