My media player 10 encounters a problem and needs to close as soon as I try
to play something (except dvds, thsoe work) I reinstalled it but the problem
persisted. i thought it had something to do with the recent security updates

Have had WMP10 since it became available.  Frequent checks from player for
updates, all is well.  Couple of days ago, there is an update - 13+MB's
worth.  Downloaded it, comp said it installed.  (WMP was working fine
before.)  WMP is still working fine, nothing happened to the ...

When I create a MP3 CD to play on a CD Player, the sequence of files on the
CD is different from the "burn list" I created in Media Player 10.  Any ideas
to create a MP3 CD in the same order as the "burn list".

have XP Pro SP 2 and all latest updates.
I cannot play the video file by clicking on the link - Windows Media player
just says connecting.... for ever. CPU goes up to 98-99%, no error message.
If I close WMP there is still a rogue process using all CPU remaining that I

i read some information on here and tried mplayer2.exe and it says this
application failed to start because quartz.dll was not found reinstalling the
application may fix this problem but i dont know how to reinstall it ?

I have a problem with my video on the WMP. Whenever I play a video, the
screen is continually "bouncy", like the screen is shifting side-to-side
without stopping.

When I put in a cd to rip it to my computer It does not show me the song
titles but when I go to find album info it shows me the information there and
when I click on finish nothing shows up.

When I add MP3s to my playlist they automatically go into my library.
Recently everytime I add them and then close WMP they disappear when I next
open it. I havent changed any settings or done anything different to what i
always do.

I have tried to burn some music to a cd via my windows media player 10 ,
which I have successfully many times, and today i get  amessage saying
windows media cannot detect a cd burner, I really dont know how to resolve

please help! i'm really not very good with computers!! i have windows media player for windows XP. when i try to open it, an error message saying "an internal error has occured" appears.There is no code. Any ideas what i need to do to get rid of this? or how it has happened?
