Need help!
Portable connected via usb to external speakers.  All sounds are heard, fine.
Except from Windows Media Player:
File is playing but sound does not get to speakers.

i just received the upgrade to media player 10, and now every time i insert a
cd it automatically starts to rip the cd... not even prompting...... needless
to say.... it only took a little while for my daughter to completely fill my
harddrive!....

How do I rip or record audio tracks from a dvd to an audio cd to play in the
car or on a portable cd player?

I was listening to the radio 2 days ago while online and now I am unable to.

I would like to purchas a DVD online, which is formated to play on
Australian systems (Region 4 and PAL). the only DVD player that I have is my
Windows Media Player. My PC is windows XP-Professional Version 2002, Service
Pack 2, with Windows Media Player 10, version 10.00.00.3802 ...

I have downloaded some online lectures...
However the Media Player 10.0 does not allow playback at a speed different
than 1.0...
I have previously successfully played at adjustable speed e.g. 2.0x, 3.0x

"digital wave player". Via USB cable I can download from recorder to my
computer using the digital wave player. I have tried various different ways

Never had a problem before, but today 5 tracks that I ripped off my
own CD's require a license to play

i am running      Windows EP Home Edition Version 2002 Service Pack 2
                       Windows  Media  Player Version 10.00.00.3646
i can play music from the start menu only and only what has been programmed
from someone else sending me a music file that i opened and saved ...

WMP10 always prompts for default player even with correct file associations,
and will now not play img or iso files, not sure what happened to change
this, have reinstalled wmp10, nagging problem - any suggestions?

Please help me!! i cannot seem to view any files sent through emails that
have the extension .wmv. i keep getting the same erro message. Is there
anyone out there that can guide me in the right direction please??

When I rum WMP and access an online store to download my music my computer
freezes up.  Nothing works no keys or mouse, i've left it for 30 minutes and
nothing changes.  In the end i have to press my reset button and start over.  
I have version 10 please help!!!

Ok I think Im in a big mess, I stupidly did not pay any attention to the
limit of changes I made to the region and now my DVD region is stuck on one
that I dont want.
I looked for help but all they gave me was "contact your DVD-ROM's

No matter what type of file I try to play I always get the following pop-up
box:
Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the
file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file.
