When I try to play any video files (mpeg, wma) or play any CDs or stream
radio I get the error message The Operating System cannot run %1. I have WMP
9.0, running Windows XP Professional SP2. I have no problems running
RealPlayer for video files, stream radio, CDs etc. so sound ...

I've already disabled Visualization and equlization. Is there any
additional way that I can save more CPU? I used used WinAmp lite. As
far as I tested, it comsumes the least CPU among all mp3 players. But
it doesn't support Unicode files and doesn't have Library. Windows

I just bought a 19" LCD monitor.
I have a 19" regular flat screen that's my main monitor, hooked into the
motherboard's onboard intel 82915G/GV/910GL Express Chipset. The montior is
set for 1600x1200x32 bits at 75hz.

Whatever I play through Windows Media - radio, CDs, DVDs -all sound as though
the artiste has been inhaling helium!  The speed of the DVD is not affected,
just the voices.  I am a complete novice - can anyone help please?

Every tie I try to listen to a wav file or look at any video files, media
player states cannot play that file, connect to the internet? Yet I am
connected. I have reinstalled media player multiple times?

I'm trying to legally download a pay-per-view video that I subscribe to and
it keeps giving me the following error:

With Notebook connected to LCD TV, none of the Windows Media Player Video

I hope that you can assist.  I would like to listen to sample music on the
internet.  The file extension is .ra.  In the past I have been able to click
the item and play the link but now I get "File Download" box.  I am using
Window Media Player.
