I tried to download a newer version of windows media player and got half way thru and it told me could not finsh download. Now i can't get the old version of media player to work. It keeps telling me that an internal application error has occurred. What do I do???

Wenever I try to access a live feed from a radio station, the player that pops up just loads, but doesn't play. after it says "connecting" it is followed by "ready" and if I try to push play, nothing happens. my version is 10.00.00.3802, on Windows XP.
