Is it possible to convert all my media files to MP3 format when they were originally placed on my computer in wma format? Is there a method to do this though Windows Media Player or do I need to Rip/Downlad the files again?

I have Windows Media Player 10, and it won't let me stream videos. It loads correctly, and I hear the sound, but it is just a black screen. What do I need to do so that I can hear AND see the video?
