I have seen lots of posts on here but none of them answer my question.
I am running XP Home with WMP10 and, until recently, was able to click on a
video link (ie a news website) which would automatically open up WMP and play
the video clip.

I've changed my file directory structure and now my playlists can't find the
songs. The file names have not changed, just the folders. Is there anyway to
fix this without recreating the playlist by hand?

I'v upgraded to WMP 10 and now I can't get any sound.  Hardware is good, but
when I try to playback a wmv or mp3 file, I get a "C00D1199: Cannot play the
file" error message.  When I play back an avi or mpg file, the video is good

Whenever I use my CD drive and try to play music the playback quality will be

For no apparent reason my media player suddenly acts thus:-
Select program ( Media Player)  to open, button opens on taskbar, task
