automatically reduce the volume!   My sound card Creative Live Platinum 5.1
drivers are up to date!

I am making a CD for a music quiz. I need to burn 15 seconds of 15 songs
twice and then the full track.
Using Windows media 9 can I do this? If so how, and if not can someone point

i have a movie that isnt supported by wmp and i get an cood1199 error. ive
tried k-lite and  vl player with no luck could somebody please help me as i
am at a loss as what to do. im running windows xp home edition and have a
wmp 10.

I used to open MP3 files using File>Open. menu command. Unfortunately the
default value of combo box 'Files of type' in File Open dialog box is
'Multimedia files (all types)'. This causes something which irritates me.
File list shows MP3 files and JPG files - the thumbnails of ...

And error message 800706BA - happens when I try to burn - won't even look for
my CD burner - which is there and works. This was all fine with WMP9...

When playing in Windows Media Player the sound is distroted and muffled.  The
sound is fine when the machine boots.  It was happening in Media Player 9, so
I upgraded to 10 and it is still happening.
Any assistance would be wonderful.

I recently picked up an iRiver T10 mp3 player which uses WMP 10 to manage

When I try to listen to a song I have downloaded on the media player, a
message comes uo saying that there is a problem with Digital Rights
Management and that I need to contact Microsoft. However I have tryed the
website amnd it is very unhelpful.

I just got a new computer and transfered my mp3s to it, but WMP 10 does not
recognize the album information i previously entered. I spent hours updating  
the info on my old computer.
How do i upload the album info to my new computer

I am running Win Media XP v10.
When the player is on the screen and I minimise it, I have the option to
minimise it on to the actual START bar, as a small set of buttons.
