Whenever WMP started and play a file, the windows voulme control (wave/mp3)
automatically reduce the volume!   My sound card Creative Live Platinum 5.1

When playing in Windows Media Player the sound is distroted and muffled.  The
sound is fine when the machine boots.  It was happening in Media Player 9, so
I upgraded to 10 and it is still happening.
Any assistance would be wonderful.

When I try to listen to a song I have downloaded on the media player, a
message comes uo saying that there is a problem with Digital Rights

I am running Win Media XP v10.
When the player is on the screen and I minimise it, I have the option to
minimise it on to the actual START bar, as a small set of buttons.
