First time post.  Hope all are well.
I am a new user to the Windows Media Store.  I was wondering, as I can't
figure it out, if you can chose a bit rate when you purchase a song through
the Windows Music store?  I would like to be able to purchase music in the

I downloaded WMP v10 to my XP desktop. When I click on the file received,
MP10Setup.exe, I get the message "MP 10Setup.exe is not a Win32 application".
The same thing happens with my other computer. What can I do to get WMP to

If I try to play a File from the Internet - e.g WMA, WMV etc etc - I get the
following message.
Windows Media Player cannot play the file. If the file is on another
computer, verify that you are connected to the network. If you typed a path,

I have wma files that can play in other players like Winamp, JetAudio and
even RealPlayer but not on Window Media Player 7.1 with my Win 98 system.

I ripped a compliation CD I had and the album data is wrong.  I tried to
manually edit the data but Windows Media Player 10 keeps changing it.  So I
have 10 songs from different artists and Windows Media Player keeps treating
them as if they are all from the same artist and album ...

Hi Guys
Can anyone help me with this? Anytime I try to play astreaming video or
audio I get an error message. I'm currently running a OS XP with Media player

When I download files from e-mail, everything works ok, but will only play

When I click on a movie link on a web page I get a pop up that asks me if I
want to save the file.  All I want is for the movie to play in media player

I have been using my Laptop playing music no problems for ages then I turned
it on today and there is no longer an audio device and so cannot play any

reverting back has not worked, uninstall, of course, does not work - any
other ideas?
