I am having the same problem with an application I developed and it
started after I install the new ver of windows media player (ver 10)
I think that the problem is reading the file summery.
I am using this DLL to read file summery from word files but it the

I cannot play anything through my Firefox browser anymore.  it use to work
but lately it hasn't.  It wont start, and when i click view error message, it
says error message 800C0008 has occured.  It says "the download of a specific

My problem is ripping music to my main user account  and i want to get name
of artist and tracks, what i get is unknown artist unknown tracks . I try

whenever i played a video offline, it would stream it in the older version 6
of media player. however if i right-click the video link, and choose -open-
it opens it in version 10. it only plays in version 6 when i play it off the
site;streaming.

My cd rom drive does not seem to want to play any type of disc. any one have
any sugesstions. I tried all the trouble shooting and tried playing it in a

If I download/stream a video from the Internet the initial image comes on the
WMP, but does not play as a video.  All the information on the WMP indicates
it is still downloading and playing but it is essentially a still image.  It
had worked previously, but no longer.  Thanks.

I could burn CD's just fine with WMP 9.0, but then I upgraded to 10.0.  Now
WMP does not seem to find my CD burner although it can be detected with Real
Player (which makes my computer want to lock up.)
I have verified that my computer recognizes my CD burner as an active device
