Anytime I click on media player or double click on a file run with media
player I get a popup window that says I am about to install "the hotest
software around". I have to go to task manager to close because there is no
option to close this window. It then adds a "TMS009.exe" ...

Whenever I try to play a streaming video file that uses
Windows Media Player inside an IE (version 6.0) browser
window, the media player screen shows "connecting" and
then "Ready." But after "ready" I'm unable to do anything.

When I click start, "Invalid class sting" is showed. I can't play any video

i can play mpegs and other video files using other players, and i also get
system sounds but no sounds when playing files through WMP.
I think i may have installed something which has changed the sound on wmp.
What do i do to re- associate the sound on WMP?

hi all, well i have just transfered my old pc to a new case but there is no
sound from my speakers which are connected through my amp. i have connected
speakers to an mp3 and sound appears. i have tried looking through the device
manager but all seems well there.
