My music files are stored on a XP Pro server and I mainly play the files on my client (XP MCE 2005) via a wireless LAN. Licenses are stored on the server and both machines manages licenses from the same folder on this server (client points to network address).

Every time I put an audio cd into the cd drive, WMP opens and starts ripping. I only want it to play. I have unchecked Rip cd when inserted, and it still starts ripping. Any suggestions or remedies gratefully received.

I recently updated my media player and now I can play my player but cannot burn a CD. I could burn them with the old media player. I get "Unknown Error" and Code ID C00D11CD.
