I have WinXP Pro installation with three user profiles - two admins and one restricted. WinMedia Player under one of the admin profiles plays MP3 files without any problems. Another one and the restricted profile throws an error:

If I want to play CD's or Dvd's the player isn't automatically working. He doesn't see what I am doing, so he won't react. Can anybody help me with this problem. I want my player to start when I put a CD/DVD in my computer.

I'm just curious as to where WMP gets its content when you insert a CD. I'm pretty sure it's not GraceNote or FreeDB. Does MS maintain its own site for TOC content?
